Sorry, because of the difficult terrain there is no disabled access to this water.
Parking for up to six cars, but please ensure access to the track is kept clear. Please also ensure the access gate is kept fastened.
Just beyond the gate a steep slope leads down to the first dyke, crossed by stepping stones. The land from here is through pastureland and can be wet and boggy - it may be worth wearing wellies!
The footbridge across the second dyke is a narrow sleeper bridge which could be slippery. Please replace the rope/chain barriers as you cross the bridge. They are in place to prevent livestock from getting onto it.
From here it's a walk across pastureland to the river bank.
Good open bank gives an opportunity to try for Chub with the fly?
Reputedly a good head of Bream, good Chub under the trees on the opposite bank and Pike to 20lb.
