On a recent visit to this stretch by our President Dave Gladwell it appeared the stretch has been blocked off and further investigation found the Club has been banned from fishing the river – River Waveney at Ellingham
Further to previous queries regarding the first field on the Suffolk bank downstream of Ellingham Mill it transpires that the land has changed ownership and the new owner does not want anglers (Members or day ticket) on his land, with immediate effect.
New “no fishing” signs appeared on this stretch but we’d had no contact from anyone. Dave G heard someone else had bought it and the new owner has now ‘officially’ contacted me and asked we stop fishing on his land.
